Departure from Madrid to the prestigious Ribera del Duero wine region, renowned for its elegant reds. Guided tour of Bodega Protos, with tour of its facilities and tasting of three wines with local snacks.

Peñafiel

Lunch in Peñafiel with Castilian menu paired with local wines. Continue to Aranda de Duero to visit a second historic winery —Don Carlos or El Lagar de Isilla — with 15th century underground galleries and tasting.

Miranda de Ebro

In the afternoon, arrival at Miranda de Ebro, accommodation and free dinner in its old town.
