Explore the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, and a local fisherman village on a full-day tour from Sandakan. Cruise through the mangrove forests and watch the fireflies light up the night.

Start your day with a hotel pickup and drive to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Watch the morning feeding of orangutans in the forest at the Outdoor Nursery. Then, watch a 25-minute programme about the orangutans at the Nature Education Centre.

Take a leisurely walk to the nearby Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to see the world's smallest bear in its natural environment. Enjoy a local lunch at the Sepilok Jungle Resort before catching the afternoon feeding of orangutans.

Transfer to a fisherman village and enjoy a simple tea break while listening to a short briefing about the village and the fireflies activities. Walk around the stilted houses and interact with village kids playing games. Join in on some of the fun village games.

Take a boat cruise through the mangrove forests, learn about the ecosystem, and have a chance to plant trees in the area. As it gets darker, witness the enchanting fireflies lighting up the trees around you. Enjoy a local dinner before being transferred back to your hotel in Sandakan.
