The geological creation age of the northern Menorca is different from the rest of the Balearic Islands, this fact makes its landscape very peculiar and gives it a strong personality. In 1999 was created the Marine Reserve of Menorca, which further strengthens the protection granted by the Natural Spaces Act of 1991 for the inland and coastal northern territory of the island. The result is a wide area with a very high ecological and environmental value enjoyable by all of us, saved from any building speculation.
