Departing around 8:20 AM (times may vary depending on the pickup location), this full-day boat tour begins with a ride along the Rio Preguiças on a speedboat, taking approximately 40 minutes to reach the charming village of Vassouras. During the rainy season, the village features deep lagoons perfect for swimming, and the main attraction here is the playful capuchin monkeys that inhabit the area. Next, the tour continues to the village of Mandacaru, where visitors can climb the Preguiças Lighthouse for magnificent panoramic views, explore local artisan shops, and enjoy regional treats such as caipirinhas and flavoured ice creams.
