Tarragona is a fascinating location, the one-time capital of the Romans in Spain some 2,000 years ago. Much has been preserved, not only of the Romans but also of the city's Medieval heritage. A great add-on for any trip to Barcelona. Guide Ramon was top-notch, a veritable Wikipedia of cultural and historical lore about the region...and he'll include some real estate tips!

Do not book this trip on a Sunday! Everything is closed on Sundays, you can’t go in and it’s a scam, to be honest. Unless you pay really cheap, don’t do it. The tour guide Ramon is the best though, the company is a scam but the tour guide that works there is truly the best, if you can ask for him, do it!

Ramon was a very knowledgeable guide. I recommend a tour with a knowledgeable guide that can show where the ruins are and how the current town has built up on top of them.

Beautiful Justicia ancient city by the sea. Ramon was very knowledgeable about the city and could point out evidence of the past in the modern structures. We would never have noticed these on our own

Ramon picked us up at the hotel right on time. He had a good plan for the day. The site was about an hour or so away. We made a pit stop along the way. The first site we saw was the quarry, then we saw then the aqueduct and the town. We were lucky we had great weather. There is a lot of walking on this tour so be prepared. Ramon gave us great explanations about the sites. We stopped at Sitges on the way back and had lunch. It was a great tour and Ramon was a great guide.

It was one of the best day trip we had and Kurt Jaime is the perfect man to look for. In Out Barcelona Tours. Kurt was fantastic while the drive, knows exact where to stop & exactly what are the places to show. He ensured we had the best experience of Tarragona while knowing it’s rich history along with trip. A must do. I would suggest Half Day as rest of the day we explored Barcelona so it was absolutely worth it. Once again Kurt, you are the best.

I enjoyed seeing the amphitheater, though I was disappointed that it wasn't possible to go down into it. The walls and circus were also very interesting. Our guide, Mariusz, was excellent.
