What you can expect

Tour the World War One battlefields of the Somme with battlefield historian and cartographer Bart Metselaar'

Bart is an official Somme battlefield guide (Somme tourist board)

Bart will join you in your car at Beaucourt-sur-l'Ancre at 10.00am. to start the tour.

For the tour, by request, but recommended, a lavish packed lunch is available for a small price (€10 p.p.)

Sidesteps are possible, according to your wishes are possible, but might need to drop another site from the itinerary.

If you have any family members who fought in the war, Bart can also help you trace their footsteps, subject to available information.
