Jorge Cuervo is a direct descendent from Jose Cuervo, it is in his blood, and it really shows when learning from him.

His passion for this industry comes back from generations in his family, starting with Don Jose Antonio Cuervo y Valdes, who was the founder of the Tequila drink back in the XVIII century,

The experience of the culture and history of tequila in the voice of the Jorge Cuervo. He will personally share his experience while you enjoy tasting the different types of tequilas from the legendary, traditional and the most distinguished family producers from Tequila region, high quality and 100% agave, and learn to distinguish the best ones for you. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our staff and escorted to your Tequila Tasting Experience, from there you will enjoy tasting three different varieties of tequila perfectly paired with our Chef Roberto Gallardo's petit Mexican canapés, one special reserved tequila from the barrel and one dessert tequila. Throughout the class Jorge Cuervo will personally teach you about the history, development process, as well as the varieties of tequila, you'll get to know what makes authentic tequila, train your palate to appreciate it, and show you how to drink like a true Mexican. Don't miss this unique experience of tequila tasting at Cabo!

This was an outstanding experience, fun and educational. The food was amazing and authentic. Jorge was a wonderful proctor as we learned everything about tequila. We've all had a bad experience with tequila but do yourselves a favor, get over it and checkout this wonderful experience.

Jorge gave us a once in a lifetime experience. This is not your typical “tequila tasting”. He comes from a long-line of experience within the Cuervo family and tells you of all the scams and warning signs to look for when purchasing and drinking tequila. He treated us like family and we hope his tequila class goes far as everyone can use this education!

I booked this experience for my partner and I. It was an intimate experience with excellent service. We learned about the history of tequila, the Cuervo Family history, and most importantly how to properly appreciate tequila!
