What you can expect

Start your day with a stroll along the tranquil Xiamen Mountain-Sea Health Trail in the morning. Wander through this lush, green pathway, where the fresh air will refresh your mind and energise you for the day’s journey. With every step and every breath, soak in the unique lifestyle vibe of Xiamen.

Then, take a ferry to Gulangyu Island and enjoy a 20-minute idyllic scenic ferry ride. As the mainland gradually fades away and the island comes into view, a sense of endless anticipation and delight will well up inside you.

Next, head to The Most Beautiful Corner, the internet-famous spot known as the “corner where love meets you.” Every nook and cranny here is filled with captivating stories and scenery, perfect for capturing those heart-stirring moments and freezing your own beautiful memories in time.

After that, visit the Gulangyu International Architecture Complex, home to renowned landmarks like Gulangyu Concert Hall, Union Church, and Gulangyu Catholic Church. Immerse yourself in the visual feast of mixed Chinese and Western architectural styles.

Choose from two optional experiences. Step into the Huang Family Garden, a top-tier century-old Nanyang villa, put on elegant qipao, savour featured pastries and drinks in the garden, and take immersive Republic-style photos. Alternatively, head to Haitang Paradise Mansion, a classic Sino-Western building, watch the intangible cultural heritage bag puppet show, admire puppeteers’ flexible manipulation of classic plays, and feel the vivid charm of southern Fujian traditional culture.

Continue your journey to Yuyuan Garden, a shining gem of Gulangyu, housing a white marble statue of Dr. Lin Qiaozhi, a sculpture of hands holding a newborn, and a memorial hall. Next stop is Shuzhuang Garden, where historical charm blends with natural beauty.

Afterwards, visit Riguang Rock, climb to the top for a 360° panoramic view of Gulangyu and learn about its name origin. Finally, head to Gangzaihou Beach, enjoy relaxing time wading in water and walking barefoot on sand. It’s also the best photo spot on the island, offering stunning backdrops for perfect shots.

Note: The Qipao dress-up and afternoon tea experience at Huangjia Garden, and the puppet show at Haitiantang Mansion are optional and not included in the tour price. Guests can choose to join these activities for an extra fee, or enjoy a walk and explore the scenery without additional costs.
