"They GAVE AWAY my prepaid room even after I called to say that we would be arriving late due to the heavy rain and road conditions. The gentleman on the phone told me not to worry. Besides, I had already PAID IN FULL for a room with two queen beds. When we got there they told me they could only give me a room with one king bed. I explained that I paid for a room with two queen beds because with my handicap I needed my own bed. The rude girl behind the counter did not care. Her attitude was “Oh well. Not my problem “. When I asked to speak with a manager she smugly said there was non on because it was the holiday weekend and I would have to wait until Tuesday (it was Saturday) to complain. Did I want the room or not? Finally after about 15 minutes of me not settling for that answer, she went and got someone. And guess what? All of a sudden a room with two queen beds became available. It definitely wasn’t nearly as clean, and had a mildew smell, as I have had at this chain before, but we great fully took the room. We will not be staying at this hotel when we come up to Reading in the future."
