Not a well maintained building

It was just an overnight stay along my trip. The mechanisms which unlock the doors were all out of order. It is a long building so I had to enter through the front entrance and walk, almost the whole length to my room. I have mobility issues and walk with a cane.

For a lower-end (i.e., less expensive) option, the TraveLodge is good. It's right across the street from a major mall; there are plenty of dining options up and down Wolf Road. It's convenient to the highway. The staff was friendly, courteous, and went above and beyond!

What happened to this hotel?

I have stayed here a few times before but this time it was different. The rooms are not updated. Housekeeping did not come to our room during our stay although we would step out. We did mention to reception about the time they would clean our room. All three days; no housekeeping Is this location being used for the homeless or for emigrants? We noticed these people who looked like they lived at the hotel. They were hanging out in the reception area in there pj's Such a disappointment. I will choose a better hotel if I decide to come back to the Albany area.

This place is terrible. The lobby had an older woman sitting as if it were her own living room, with a vape on the table. As I walked down the hallway, I smelled weed. I immediately requested a refund, but the front desk declined. I had to make several phone calls to get my credit card company to issue a refund because the hotel never got back to me. Very unprofessional and poorly managed!
