The bathroom has a tiny, weird shape. The type of toilet that is installed makes an extremely loud flushing sound. When I mentioned this at checkout, the desk clerk apologized (not her fault) and admitted lots of people comment negatively about this. Also, the pet fee of $60 is quite high. Pets are allowed in the dining area (free breakfast) which I object to. Free dinner was offered the night we stayed there, which was nice. One would think that 2 free meals would make the $250. Hotel bill more palatable. But it really didn’t. Honestly I d rather pay less for the hotel overall and use the difference to eat food at restaurants we prefer rather than the packaged processed food offered in the “free” meals. We chose this property for the location, but may not stay there again.

I was so surprised there was a complimentary buffet for dinner. They also have a warm breakfast. I think this is one is my favorite when traveling between Colorado and Arizona.

We came in late the first night and it took three days to get some towels exchanged. The ladies on the floor were short staffed and had come in on their days off.

Unfortunately like most hotels a few days they had staff shortages and we had an issue with getting different answers about having someone bring towels. I talked with the staff and a few dedicated employees came in on their day off to help out. I enjoyed having time to recognize their work ethic and checking out we were given a voucher. I know it’s not their fault it is hard to get good workers these days. My good star was because it took three days to get our towels swapped out.
