Great location and good value

A really nice 1970 /80's style hotel overlooking the harbour. Good sized, comfortable room. Good breakfast with a wide rage of hot and cold dishes. The only downside was that the breakfast finished spot-on 9.30 am when all the dishes were removed! Ok for business people but not so good if you're on a leisurely holiday. The staff were helpful. We particularly liked the self- service area in the foyer where you can buy sandwiches, drinks, etc at a reasonable price........and get free coffee! Alesund itself is a lovely town with many beautiful art nouveau buildings. However 2 days is probably enough unless you have a car and use it as a base to explore the wider area.

Loistava sijainti ja erityisen upea aamiainen. Henkilökunta erittäin palvelualtista ja ystävällistä! Pysäköinti melko lähellä hotellia. Siistit huoneet ja yleiset tilat sekä sijainti keskeisellä paikalla.

Angenehmer Hotelaufenthalt

Zentral gelegen mit Blick auf den Hafen (aber in Alesund ist alles zentral...). Unser Dachzimmer, geräumig aber mit etwas in die Jahre gekommener Möblierung, bot einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf den Hafen und Alesund's Hausberg. Tolles Frühstück mit grosser Auswahl im schönen, modernen Restaurant. In den sehr bequemen Relaxloungern der Lounge lässt sich ganztags kostenlos offerierten Kaffee, Wasser und abends von 17 bis 20.00 Uhr heisse Suppe geniessen. Gratis Wifi, funktioniert tadellos im ganzen Hotel. Unserem Zimmerwunsch wurde entsprochen, auf Anfrage wurde uns auch Late Checkout gewährt, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Die Rezeptions-Staff ist Hit-or-Miss am einen Tag eine äusserst freundliche und hilfsbereite Rezeptionistion, am nächsten Tag lustlose, schnoddrige Mitarbeiter, die einem kaum Beachtung schenken. Aber alles in allem ein angenehmes Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, das wir weiterempfehlen können.

ÜberraschungsUrlaub

Das Hotel liegt an guter Lage. Vom Früstücksbuffet sieht man direkt auf den kleinen Hafen von Alesund. Das Frühstück hat allerlei Sachen zum Essen vom Lachs bis zum Muffin alles enthalten. Gegen den Nachmittag gab es noch kostenlos Gemüsesuppe und Kaffee. Kann ich jedem Weiterempfehlen.

Zentrales und sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal

Das Hotel ist zentral am Wasser gelegen und vom Hafen aus in fünf Minuten zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Das Personal ist freundlich. Praktisch ist der kleine Shop, in welchem man von der Zahnbürste bis zum Snack alles bekommt, was wichtig sein könnte. Das Zimmer hatte eine angenehme Grösse, war sehr sauber (auch das Bad) und sämtliche elektronischen Geräte funktionierten.
