The room was clean but there were no tissue paper anywhere. Food at Tarakua was outstanding however the food at the restaurant where they serve breakfast was mediocre. Swimming pool can get busy and dirty with tons of kids on the weekends but weekdays are much cleaner and quiet.

Decided to spoil myself with a one night Hotel stay that has beautiful views and a pool. Was a lovely regarge stay. The bed ,mattress and pillows were so comfortable, probably in the top 3 of Hotels in comfort. So happy they don't wash the bedding with fragrance washing detergent, Those toxic fragrances can spoil a hotel stay for me. They could improve on adding a few personal touches though, Like a welcome note , a little chocolate as a gift, a coffee machine in the room with coffee and milk would be a small touch to improve the experience. Overall I enjoyed my stay even with the lack of a few personal welcoming touches.

Comfortable and helpful staff.

The Resort Y Golf Club Paraguayo was a decent stay. The property is spacious and the staff were always eager to help. The rooms were clean, breakfast was decent and it was overall a pleasant stay. The property is a bit dated and they are currently doing renovations. They can also use more English speaking staff at the front desk if they want to appeal more to North American English speaking travelers.

Great hotel

After a few years, I had the opportunity to enjoy this hotel again. It remains a great hotel with an outstanding location and stunning views, right on the riverside of the Paraguay River. There have been some minor improvements, likely due to its acquisition by Marriott, such as renovations—especially in the lobby area. I will definitely return. One aspect that needs attention is the restaurants. The food is just average, and there is room for improvement.

I booked a room with garden view but I got the first room next to entrance to hotel facing the parking lot. Heard the motorcycle noise every early morning. I got charged for an early check in at 11am when that should have been honoring to me a no cost since I am a VIp member. Didn’t get any of my VIP benefits at this hotel. The cleanliness needs to be improved in the rooms and pool need better cleaning and maintenance

Completely outdated, waited more than 15 minutes for a pool towel, pool area is dirty, hallways look unsafe structurally, expensive and low quality food to purchase, at least 20 bugs in my room. At least, the bed was comfortable. I would not go back and I would never recommend that hotel to anyone.
