Good place to stay, but I they took a $50 deposit and said I would get a full refund but they refunded half and I with no explanation. Also there was one day I came back to the hotel my room door was left open, which I was a little upset by that.

The Hidden $15....

When we got off the expressway we couldn't help but to notice the 2 big tarps covering the top of the building. As soon as we saw that, my wife started looking at me with the crazy eyes. We prepaid for all 3 nights through Hotels.com and was thinking we were ok for check-in so our 1st surprise was the mandatory $50 deposit. Since we were traveling we were tight on funds, especially a deposit that we didn't know any thing about. All in all the king-size room was pretty decent, comfy bed with plenty of hot water. I'm always nervous with the inside door for the adjoining room so I propped a door guard under it and calmed my wife down. From 2;30am until 4am I was up on alert because our neighbors were having a terrible argument loud cursing and bumping into the walls. When they finally finished we was able to get some sleep. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. You just cant beat free grits, eggs, & bacon when you're on a budget. An emergency came up so we had to check out a day early on Sunday afternoon instead of Monday. The hostess told us that we couldn't expect our $50 deposit back because it was $15 for parking fee. My wife was arguing that the self parking was free. So then the hostess told us that the $15 was for the breakfast we ate. Again my wife is getting hotter & hotter because the breakfast came with the room. Then the hostess finally said that the $15 was a hotel fee that she had to keep. I told my wife that we should just politely leave.
