The bed and rooms were clean and comfortable. I really loved the location in the park and it was easy to get to the station and city centre either walking or by tram. There was lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby. There was hot water and coffee available 24hrs. There was lots of communal areas ...
After inadvertently booking into a hostel I was overwhelmed with the high standard of this place. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean. The food was very good. The downstairs communal kitchen was clean and well appointed. Entertainment was provided every ...
It's quite far out making it hard to find especially in the dark. When I asked around the locals they weren't awere of it either which made its location harder. The neighbourhood isn't that bad ut it's a good 10 minutes to a bus (21) for central station which will take 20 minutes. Its very basic ...
a wonderful place, the next time I come to Amsterdam I promise to stay at this hostel
The Flying Pig Uptown hostel is perfectly located for exploring Amsterdam - it's right by the Vondelpark, I Amsterdam sign and Van Gogh Museum, as well as a few others. Also within walking distance to Centrum and well served by public transport. We only used a tram once and walked everywhere the ...
Great location. Exactly what we were expecting. The price was good for the level of service we received. The room was spacious enough to accommodate 6 and it was clean and well kept. 24 hour reception was useful as we arrived in the early hours.
So close to all the fun, shops, bars and clubs. Fantastic staff, great rooms. We had a great time here.
We stayed in the Hostel for 4 nights, the location is good! Only 20 min with the tram to the center. The only bad thing was the toilet and shower, they only had one. So one toilet for the floor with 6/7 rooms .

Location to Schiphol Airport. Modern hotel with excellent room. Safe feeling for solo traveller.
It's a bit of a way from the centre but use the hotel shuttle then get a gvb ticket for bus tram and boat
The room was lovely and very clean. The only issue we had was lack of sleep due to the noise coming from the street that our room looked out on. I would go back to the hotel but would refuse a room looking out onto this street.
