Friendly and welcoming staff, spacious common areas, and overall a comfortable stay. I liked that there was a water dispenser and bar on site, and each bunk had its own light. The location was also great — very close to the free ferry terminal and good value for the price.

Lovely hostel in a quiter part of Amsterdam, yet a quick ferry ride away from city center. I stayed in a private twin room with a friend, and it was perfect for us. Staff was very kind and helpful. Clean room and comfortable beds. Perfect for our trip!

A well-established hostel with a friendly, welcoming vibe. As a solo traveller, I appreciated the option of a female-only dorm. Any extras beyond bedding come at added cost—can’t remember if this is common among hostels in general, as I haven’t stayed at one in over 10yrs; but it’s worth knowing to budget accordingly. The bed was comfortable and the blanket was the perfect thickness and weight. My room locker was spacious enough to hold my carry-on-sized suitcase, my standard-size backpack, and my lunch bag. The hostel is located close to Centraal Station; check-in and check-out was efficient, with staff close by to answer questions as needed.
