Everything about the Clayton is First rate the people are wonderful. The room was wonderful. The food that they serve is excellent. The bar is terrific and the location could not be any better. I plan on staying there every time I return to Amsterdam!

Great location with friendly staff. Buffet was exceptional with plenty of options. We had a balcony room with great views , but our neighbors were big smokers so we couldn't really enjoy it ,and it was an considerable upcharge.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with good facilities but the room was not insulated enough from the noise from passing trams and for 3 nights the club opposite played loud techno music till 5 and 6 am. We had trouble going to sleep and staying asleep. It was unbearable.
