Nice place good for the city a fridge wouldn't go a miss apart from that all good give it 8/10

good location, adequate rooms

Pros: Bathroom, location, bed.

Cons: Smell, temperature.

Location: 10 mins walk to Central Station

The hotel is what you pay for, a good price in the centre of Amsterdam. A bit tatty, but good enough. The room smelled strongly of bleach/swimming pools, which was off putting. And it was cold, although I was able to warm it up with the air/con heating system after much trial and error of how to work it. The bathroom was very large, clean and modern. It had two showers which was kind of overkill! The windows looked out onto a blank wall and between the windows and the wall was a load of scaffolding with platforms above and below, blocking out almost all natural light. But then again, I was only there for one night and just to sleep so it didn't matter. The bed was comfortable. I didn't have time for breakfast in the morning so don't know what it was like. 8 Euro is very cheap though, so I imagine that it's like the rest of the hotel - does the job but nothing special.

Very disappointing

We booked a small room but paid upgrade for a king bed. The size of bed was just a 4ft: far from king size. The room smelt of damp and must. The Windows were filthy:,black and mouldy. There was a glass panel missing from the shower cubicle. This meant water seeped through making the floor a wet hazard. We complained but staff could not care less. The breakfast was disgusting. The only positive thing we can say about the hotel was it was in a good location. The photos made the hotel look clean and inviting. It fact just the opposite. We were glad to leave. Would NEVER recommend this hotel.

Long weekend rendezvous with family

A pleasant but basic hotel in a central location. My room was on the side of the building facing straight into a brick wall over a narrow alley way and windows looking down into my room so curtains needed to be kept closed at all times. Surprisingly quiet inside with no slamming doors . Little road noise, dulcet tones of trams and bike bells. Thought breakfast was included but not ....as did a number of other travellers checking out much to their surprise. Did not try the breakfast though. Took a while to get used to laminate flooring in bedroom rather than carpet but beds were excellent, showers hot and towels plentiful. All in all a great budget, no frills hotel.

Top Lage. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Leider ab und zu ein wenig zu kalt im Zimmer. Bekamen aber von der Rezeption einen kleine Heizstrahler. Ansonsten alles super!
