A standard 4* hotel

We rate the hotel as standard 4*. The room 708 is relatively small though for the high price we paid. It has only a partial view on the river. The room was clean. The furniture is very basic: we have a king bed room with only one chair to seat! The 2nd person has to sit on a stool: this is not acceptable as we have booked for 6 nights (01-07 Sep 2025) with an average price > 6 * 560 cad (this includes a reward night discount of hotels.com). The wardrobe is ridiculously tiny: we don’t have enough space to hang our clothes! Same remark for the bathroom, which is clean but small, with not enough space to hang the towels! In summary, i think it’s worth booking this hotel for a price around 200-300cad/night. For more than 550cad, one should find better hotel in Amsterdam. Just in front of the hotel we have the Sea Palace restaurant, which is a true tourist trap (very expensive meals with basic fast food quality)!

This was our second stay at Double Three Central Train Station Amsterdam. The room was very modern and clean, the view from the room fantastic, very walkable location to everything. BUT our coffee machine didn’t work, there are was no shower wash in the shower, the draining was very slow. We tried the restaurant - the salad with grilled veggies was a disaster: huge pile of bulgur and minuscular bits of veggies. Not good.

Convenient and near the Eurostar train station. Was able to get a room to transfer to after spending one night in a room along the canal with no lift, a/c, available staff and bad air quality. This hotel was literally a lifesaver.

Fantastic location with great views! Transport links (trams, bus, trains) in close proximity. Supermarket next door which was very handy. Hotel itself was very clean and had all the amenities and facilities you could want. The fitness centre was well equipped, better than most other hotels. Also had a nice rooftop bar. Just fantastic, would definitely go back.

Had wonderful time staying at this hotel for five nights. Very attentive staff, excellent location, close proximity to the train station makes everything accessible by public transportation, plentiful breakfast and fabulous city view from our king corner room! Supermarket next door has all necessities at reasonable prices. Didn't do lunch or dinner at the hotel restaurants, but their roof bar is truly a spectacle. Chinese restaurant right next to the hotel is worth a visit,- right on a water, opulently decorated and Michelin starred Overall - Recommend without reservations

Lovely room. Bed a little too firm, however that is personal taste. Location good for train to airport, easy walkable. Tasty breakfast with good choices. Staff very efficient and rooftop bar was lovely.
