Having dinner included each night was very helpful after long days at work conferences off site. Was nice to come back to a meal and not have to worry about finding somewhere to eat out. I would recommend asking to not be in room 221, the room I had. There was some sort of machine below my room, sounded like a compressor, that runs every 4-7 minutes, it was beyond annoying trying to sleep through that for 2 nights, really loud and very aggravating. Other than the restless nights with the compressor noise, the hotel is great!

Hotel could use some improvements

Hotel was very clean, and customer service was courteous and polite. Now for the not so good. Hotel location allowed for traffic noise to be very loud. There were young children playing in the elevators and stairs, no supervision; made for inconvenient waiting times. The AC unit in the room worked great but was also very loud. The shower water pressure on the 7th floor was non-existent if you wanted hot water. Other than that, our stay was great.

The free evening food was so awful. It was like they purchased the cheapest food to serve. Had no flavor had to throw it away. Not sure about breakfast we went somewhere than sit down and be disappointed. to serve

First Time Stay at Drury Inn in Marietta GA

Check-in was fast. Good information about services and benefits shared at check-in. Dinner was being served when we arrived around 6:00pm. Dinner was just okay. We had chicken and pasta, others had hot dogs with chili. Salad also offered. Room was clean, no odors and no bed bugs. Room was fresh smelling. AC was a little loud. Shower water pressure was horrible--worst I've experienced in a hotel. Other users use of shower affected my water pressure--not used to this at all. Staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was robust with two types of scrambled eggs, round sausage patties, biscuits, several juices and other entrees I can't remember. Parking was good.

Best ever

I'm so sorry I cant remember his name, but the man who checked me in and ran the desk that first day was so kind and funny and personable. He was very helpful, and I could tell he took great pride in his hotel. I told him I have bad luck with rooms, so I always go check it before lugging my family and luggage up there. There is always smoke, or pee, or bugs, smell, or just not turned over. He was very understanding and like a reverse jynx, the room was perfect. He was also tending bar that night by himself and he was hustling. There was a long line but not his fault at all. There was someone else there too later on, but he only served beer and wine and everyone wanted cocktails so he just kind of hovered then disappeared, probably checking in new guests. All in all, great hotel.
