Charges for handicapped parking

I've have been traveling regularly for the past 23 years. I've been from coast-to-coats at hotels in a lot of major metropolitan areas. I have NEVER paid for handicapped parking until this weekend. I also saw a man in a wheelchair checking in. He also paid to park. Way to treat disabled veterans Hyatt.
