check in was easy....hotel is very clean. You can tell that the staff take pride in providing a nice place for people to stay So many motels in the area seem to not care how the property looks. Garden state is definitely one of the better places in the area to stay at. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

While it was apparent that the room had recently been painted, there were broken electrical outlet covers and a few other items. A few light bulbs weren't working. The WIFI was the worst I've tried in a hotel in some years. there wasn't a single USB power port in the room. If we had been there more than one night (the reason we didn't complain) I'd have asked for a different room. Also, the mattress had a dip in the middle that we didn't really notice until we went to bed.

The rooms are very nice and spacious. I really enjoyed the jetted tub the parking right outside of my room door, the vending machine and ice machine and also the courteous manager during check-in.
