Perfect place to get away

Had a great stay at Gudvangen Fjordtell. The location is amazing and the people were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here and not in Flam. Cruise ships cannot come into the fjord that far, so at night it is very peaceful. Easy access back and forth to Flam via the shuttle bus, or by boat.

If you want to stay close to Flåm, this place is a gem. It’s only 20 minutes from flam & is easily accessible by ferry or bus. There are several dining options on or near the property. The scenery is beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast bar is good and has everything. I would highly recommend.

Room was very simple but clean and in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable and the shower/bathroom worked well. The views from the property are outstanding, so definitely walk around a bit. There is a nice cafe next to the hotel that has great pizzas (not the cafeteria in the hotel; we had the included breakfast there and it was okay, but not great). The only other thing I would mention is that they did not have any shampoo, just soap for the shower. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to check in earlier than I expected. There was a fridge and microwave in the room which was a pleasant surprise.

Great place for a stop in Gudvangen! We loved the space provided with clean rooms and bathroom, and BEAUTIFUL views. The dinner we had was excellent and all of the staff was very friendly.

The room has a huge window in the ceiling. In summer, it means room can not be darkened. Room wasn't very clean. Breakfast was basic at best

Overall a good option if staying in Gudvangen. We were put up in a newer addition / units facing the road. The bed literally had windows facing the street - so not very private. But Gudvangen is a small town and the room served our needs well for our overnight stop with easy parking. Room, bed and bathroom were satisfactory and clean. The room included a small kitchenette as well. The Included breakfast was just ok.

Property and surrounding is so very beautiful. It is a good stop and nice to spend one day in the midst of nature. For vegetarians Pizza is the only option there and they also have a small kitchen in the in the room. Overall a very good experience.
