Nice hotel for the money not far from Kohsan area

Basic clean room with pool and good breakfast ‘ pleasant staff not far from kohsan area for the money

not such good value

Location: close to khao san but not too close. walking distance to many tourist spots

a older style and slightly shabby hotel that is well run but is now pricing itself out of the market.

lovely staff

As others have said the place is a bit tired but the staff were really helpful and kind. The location is good, quite quiet but near to everything.

Excellent time and great place!

It was my first time in Thailand. The hotel was perfectly located for all the tourist attractions in central Bangkok. I do recommend you to stay at this location if you don't want to spend too much money and required good hotel service!!!

Non-smoking hotel?

The first room I was given at Hotel de Moc smelled like an ashtray, even though the hotel claims to be non-smoking, and I asked to be moved elsewhere. The room I was given instead smelled like paint and was very loud as it was right next to the highway, but I stayed in it as there was nothing else available. The noise seemed worse at night and kept me awake, so in the morning I requested to be moved again (it's actually very unlike me to complain) and was put in a third room, which was the nicest of the three. It was still loud, but at least I was able to sleep. In both rooms, the beds were on rollers and moved whenever I tried to sit on them to watch tv, which was also inconvenient. The pool, however, was lovely.

Recommended!!

Retro design hotel. friendly staff , good service! Walkable to Kaosan Road and not far from Grand Palace. Free shuttle TukTuk to Kaosan Road. I think this hotel could be a best hotel around this area. Taxi to Kaosan Road < 40 Baht, to Grand Palace < 50 Baht.

Nice hotel close to Khaosan

We stayed in a superior room in a 5th floor. The room was big enough, and felt even more spacious, thanks to wall size window. Big balcony, too! Coffee facilities in the room.The staff was friendly, and the pool was nice. There's a couple of restaurants and 7/11 market nearby. Walking distance to Khaosan and the river boat pier. If you need to go farther, it's easy to take a bus in front of the hotel.

Super!

Je recommande cet hôtel, très bon rapport qualité prix. Hotel bien placé pour les visites et pas trop loin de khosan road. Personnel accueillant les chambres sont propres.
