I've stayed at the Muse hotel for many years and we kept going back because the quality and attention to detail was always great.
Sadly, this year was disappointing from a cleanliness standpoint.
Upon checking in, there was a long hair and a dead cockroach in the washroom (was on the 11th floor). We just wiped it away and took care of it and gave them a pass.
A couple of nights late, I noticed another dead cockroach on the window sill between the washroom and the main bedroom. I took a picture of it and talked to a Sasha who was the Manager on duty at the time, and shared my disappointment. She said all the right things and offered to move rooms but it was a whole thing to repack and move. So she mentioned she would have housekeeping do a deep clean once we left for the day.
Once we returned, the room was made up but the dead cockroach was still on the sill. Yes, they did send up a small appetizer tray with a note, but they didn't take care of the main issue...
I shared my story again but to another Manager on duty. Again, they apologized and mentioned housekeeping will take care of it, which they did.
Overall, our most disappointing stay at the muse and seeing we go back to bangkok each year, we will be rethinking where we will stay next year.
