I really enjoyed the charm of the property, and I would happily stay again. I opted for a shared toilet, but I had my own sink and shower in my room, which was very convenient. Overall, the property has a lovely atmosphere.

Love this place. A different type of hotel stay.

This place is amazing and a far cry from the chaos of a place like Salou or the soul-less bigger hotel chains. As soon as you walk through the door you go 'wow' as the entrance area is amazing with an old-style elevator that takes you up to reception. The room was super-cool with high celings and high windows with a balcony, which just let the the nicest light in to the room, making it feel really like you were on holidays in Barcelona, and not just in another hotel room. Small second bet for our boy was perfect and a super-powerful shower. The relaxed vibe continued in to the breakfast area, where a nice breakfast was on offer and it all felt so calming and relaxing after a chaotic stay in Salou. Staff were really friendly too and happily let us leave our cases there for several hours before we had to head back to the airport. Easy reach to the city centre in 20 mins in a bus almost outside the door.

Encantado con mi reciente estadía, el lugar es privado aún estando en el medio de la ciudad. Centralmente localizado siempre había opciones cambiables para cualquier tipo de diligencia. Los cuartos son visualmente apelables, tienen comodidades que funcionan muy bien con el lugar

Charged different amount than booked. Paid more than acknowledged. Very disappointed to hotels.com as well. Impolite during explaining the reason - correction: there was no proper explanation. Lack of soundproofing. Overall, not recommended at all.

We have a good experience at Hostal Girona. We stayed for 2 nights in Barcelona. Its a beautiful small hotel with a shower in your room but the washroom are sharedbut always clean. The breakfast buffet were delicious. We will be happy to stay here again.

Beautiful, charming property. My shower hot water didn't work so well but I would book here again without hesitation because it was so nice! The staff was warm & pleasant, the breakfast and the coffee machine was really great. The location was amazing I almost regretted getting the unlimited Barcelona metro card (but not really) - you can walk to many great places.

Beautiful over a hundred years old building. Room clean and comfortable. The only thing is that you have to be prepared to share a restroom with other guests on the floor but overall it’s a great place to stay in Barcelona!
