Good hotel. Centrally located. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. The ‘ hot’ food at breakfast from the food plates wasn’t hot enough. Good cold food choices. The shower temperature varied a lot during the shower from warm to cold which wasn’t pleasant.

Quiet place, steps away from metro stations and restaurants. Very clean, no carpets. The only issue we had was with the shower, the water temperature was fluctuating between cold to really hot, you really had to be quick to move away from the water stream. The hotel said it was an issue they were working on but we stayed 4 nights and did not see any improvment

A true 4 star hotel. Rooms are lovely, amenities are great, staff is most professional and kind. A couple of minor issues were dealt with quickly and provided a free drink and breakfast visit to compensate. A great experience overall and we would definitely stay again.

Very nice, clean hotel. Although it is on a busy street, once the windows are closed it was very quiet. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. They were never too busy to provide information or guidance regarding the area.

We recently stayed at Hotel Catalonia Gran in Barcelona, and it exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic – just outside the busy zones, making it a peaceful retreat while still being close enough to the city's main attractions. The staff truly made the experience exceptional. Adrian and Valery were incredibly knowledgeable and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and gave excellent recommendations for places to eat. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. After long days of exploring the city, it was a pleasure to return to such a relaxing space. One of the highlights was the excellent chocolates they provided – a sweet and delicious touch that added a bit of luxury to the experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Barcelona. Great location, outstanding staff, and a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast buffet was excellent really enjoyed the fresh orange juice. We were running late one morning for a activity and the gentleman at the front desk spoke to the taxi driver explaining that we were late so I guess he took a short cut and we made it with 2 minutes before the bus left. Thank you so much.

Very convenient location near Plaça Catalunya and La Rambla. Luxury boutique hotel, with all modern amenities. the online photos are true of the quality of the room. Clean and very helpful friendly staff. The only thing to be aware of as other reviewers have noted is that the rooms are VERY bijou. Perfect for solo traveller, couple or short stay (we spent one night). Other than that - which is not an issue unless you intend to stay in the room - would highly recommend. Although we didn’t use it the gym, pool and dining lounge all looked great.
