I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! First of all, it was a lot bigger than I expected and the bathroom was huge! The room was also super clean, the bed was relatively comfy, and the shower was huge with amazing hot water. I did have a chance to try the complimentary breakfast they offer, obviously it’s not a buffet, but it is something small to hold you over for a little bit or something to grab to save for later as a snack (which i did).

It was good! No issues with anything, basic hotel but it has everything I needed. I ended up staying another night! Staff were courteous and warm! There's free muffins and coffee in the morning and you can refill your water anytime. It's close to the public transportation and very easy to go around Barcelona. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby! I'll definitely stay again!

We liked that there was coffee, water, and a little muffin downstairs in the morning. And also lockers to leave our luggage before check-in time. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room and building was very clean and beautiful.

The elevator broke 2 times out of our 3 days stay. The staff are very nice though and the location of hotel is closed to everywhere. The hotel is old but has a good vibes. I just don’t like the scent that they choose inside the hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Praktik Garden was outstanding. Upon arrival, the concierge kindly accommodated an early check-in based on room availability, which was much appreciated after a red-eye flight from Toronto to Barcelona. Room: Small but quaint. We weren’t overly fond of the bathroom set up with the sink in the bedroom and bathroom/toilet separated by a glass door that was not fully sealed for privacy but as a couple we were able to make due with the set up. We absolutely loved the Juliet balcony overlooking the street. It was quite the view in comparison to what we are used to back home. Amenities: Outdoor terrace was a lovely option for some relaxation. It was well-equipped with lounge chairs and seating areas but also surrounded by beautiful greenery. We made use of the areas after a long day on our feet and during our morning coffee and muffin, which was complimentary. Location: Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. On average about 20 mins walk from most destinations on our list. Concierge assisted us with reserving a taxi for our early morning flight out of Barcelona International Airport and atop of that the taxi was early which early eased our anxiety of possibly being late. 10/10 would recommend. Note as well they have other Hotel Praktik options in Barcelona so picn the one best suited to your location preferences and budget.

We ended up not staying at this location because there was a leakage in the room, but were relocated to Praktik Rambla hotel, which was a lot more luxurious than the Praktik Garden hotel.

The room and hotel was very clean and nice. Coffee in the lobby in the morning. It was within 15 minutes walking to the Sagrada Familia. The shower was fantastic!! Staff is friendly and helpful. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance and a mini-market.

What a wonderful, special and unique place this is. If you like to avoid large bland characterless hotels, and prefer somewhere tranquil with heart and soul then this is the place for you! The staff are wonderful and welcoming. The place is beautiful with plants and books. There is a wonderful tranquil terrace to relax. The common kitchen/sitting area is lovely, with some baked treats and coffee machine for breakfast in the morning. My bedroom was very plain and calm and had everything I needed. It was great to have the doors and little balcony out into the street. The doors were well sound proofed and the air con was very effective. So it meant it was cool and peaceful with doors closed over night. The standard of room cleaning service was excellent and kept it lovely and neat and clean during my 4 night stay. I was sad to have to leave and would definitely love to stay here again.
