We were so pleased with this hotel. This was our first trip to Europe ant the staff was so friendly and helpful with everything - restaurant recommendations, getting taxis, answering questions, etc. it’s location was very central to everything with much within walking distance. Felt very safe.

Overall we had a fabulous stay! The hotel is very modern, clean and quiet and the staff are extremely helpful. They made fantastic restaurant reservations during our stay and arranged transportation with professional drivers which worked out well. The property was great, the staff was friendly, professional and made our stay warm and welcoming. Convenient location. The crew at CRU was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. But please be aware of your surroundings as pick pockets are rampant and give the Barcelona a bad rep. We were victims to it. Renaissance Barcelona is wonderful and would highly recommend it

All in all an okay stay, friendly staff and good location. To mention some disappointment it would be that the roof terrace was closed, construction work below the room and I would expect a 5-star hotel to have a mini bar with a few beers.
