Breakfast was fantastic. Full Irish on offer as well as pastries, toast, cereals and even waffle makers with batter in a dispenser. Booked a Queen room but disappointed to find out Iā€™d missed the small print and it was still a regular size double bed, not even a bigger room. Deliberately misleading. Staff were friendly and room was clean. Would be nice to have some bottled water in the rooms. And parking Ā£14 for 24 hours, ouch! But thatā€™s what you get for city centre. Close to some lovely pubs and eateries.

Great central location

We had a two night stay here which we enjoyed as it was comfortable and within easy walking distance to city centre restaurants and shops. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good apart from limited choice in cereals and fresh fruit etc, but thatā€™s just personal choice, the cooked breakfast was good and I was happy to see that they had a vegetarian choice which hasnā€™t been provided in other hotels weā€™ve stayed in. If you need parking the hotel will provide a discount for the multi story car park just beside the hotel which is a lot cheaper than the smaller one adjacent. We would recommend this hotel as a good base for a short break and would definitely return.

Great location to easily walk to city centre, friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Unfortunately we booked a room for 4 people and on arrival the room was only made up for 2 people. After a long day travelling we would have all liked to have hot showers, a hot drink in the room and a nap straight away. We requested extra towels and mugs, the towels arrived quickly but we never got the extra mugs, despite asking several times over the 3 day stay. The second bed was made up for us upon asking on the first evening, but only had 1 pillow per person whereas the main bed had 2 pillows per person. There was also a toenail clipping on the bedding when we arrived. This was removed by housekeeping, but the bedding was not changed, a bit gross!
