This is an excellent and centrally located establishment that exceeded all of my expectations. It was like having a modern apartment in the heart of Mitte which you can explore all of Berlin in any direction from this starting point. Late night check-in was simple and easy. Highly recommended.

We arrived late but there was no problem picking up the key from the restaurant next door who were expecting us. The room was lovely with the bonus of a balcony. Lovely bed, well equipped and very spacious.Perfect position for easy walking to all the main attractions in one of the best neighbourhoods in Berlin. If you’re thinking of a trip to Berlin this is definitely the place to stay.

Air conditioning in the room was broken. They did provide an electric fan, however, sleeping was a challenge in such humid and hot conditions, and made for some sleepless nights. Overall the place was ok, and with a great central location.

We loved out stay at Clipper Boardinghouse. The only thing we could not understand was the cooling system in that it never appeared to work. This may have been our lack of understanding but never the less if you want older people to stay with you there is room for improvement here. To have everything online is not helpful either.

Amazing stay

I cannot fault the place - spacious, extremely clean, well equipped (toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, cutlery, china), good quality toiletries and very comfortable bed. The room was very quit, had a balcony (unexpected so great surprise), a speaker and bathroom radio (nice touch). Easy access to transport, however not always needed as most of the places to visit are within walking distance. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

We liked the rooms but I booked the comfort apartment which says sleeps 3 for 3 teenagers traveling with us. They made me pay an additional $80 per night for the 3rd kid. The main reason I chose the Clipper was to accomadye 3 older kids to stay in a room adjacent to ours.

Lovely place to stay, so quiet in a busy city, with a small kitchen for breakfast in the room. Only negative is that when we forgot our keycard in the roomin the early evening, it took 45 minutes for someone to come and help. If we hadn't had our phone with us, there would have been no way of contacting the out of hours security.

Great apartment in Cental Berlin

What a great find, via the website, in the former East Berlin and excellent for transport links as the U5 and U6 train station Unter den Linden was < 1 minute walk from the apartment main entrance. We booked a garden room which was nice having a little extra space in this central city setting. The kitchenette met the requirements, and a lovely rain shower in the bathroom, if I am being really picky the fixed shaving mirror was not ideal but as said being picky. Really spacious room, with a desk, sofa and arm chair. Very helpful staff at reception and the cleaning staff too. We had a late check in this was via the restaurant next door again really good . Nice place for breakfast close by too around the corner. When I visit Berlin next time I would book the apartments again. Recommended
