Great hospitality by Garrison and his team. The wine and cheese gathering along with small bite and barnacle cookies were wonderful. Breakfast was great, overall we enjoyed our stay and we look forward to coming back.

Sabrina and the rest of the Avonlea staff were incredible. We were the only people booked for the Blue Dori inn, so they asked for f we wouldn’t mind moving over to the Avonlea. Still had a water view, and we had a great experience.

We loved our time at Blue Dory! Everything about it exceeded our expectations. We especially liked how close we were to town and the beach. And the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating. We hope to return to BI and would definitely stay at Blue Dory again. Special thanks to Holly who was there to answer any and all of the questions we had!

The place was nice but dated. Noisy window air conditioner in a dated room, that doesn't cut it at 600 plus a night. The staff was nice and the caretakers were not really into to their jobs. I think that they couldn't wait to get off the island at the end of the summer.
