I always stay here when I go to concerts or shows downtown it’s so easy to walk to so many venues and events. You also have a wide selection of restaurants and places to drink at around the area.

A nice, up-market property in the heart of Boise, right by the Basque square and it's great restaurants. Decent room but with an odd layout: nowhere to hang towels near the cramped sink, no shower handrails, the usual terrible hotel bedroom lighting. No luggage racks in the room when we arrived, either, though the staff did find us some. The hotel was renovating its rooms while we were there and hadn't done our floor, so perhaps they'll address some of these issues. The only meal we had there was breakfast; this is menu-only, no buffet, but was really excellent. The self-parking garage under the hotel is convenient but very cramped; large vehicles will have a tricky time navigating it.

Extremely Disappointed – Severe Allergic Reaction to Bedding I had a terrible experience at the Grove Hotel due to what I believe was an allergic reaction to their bedding. After laying in the bed for the first time, I broke out in full-body hives. I immediately showered, and the symptoms subsided. However, after returning to bed, I woke up at 3 a.m. covered in hives again—this time on both legs, my back, and arms. I had to shower a second time and ended up sleeping on a couch in the hotel lobby because it was the only place I could get relief. Once I was away from the bed, the reaction faded, confirming that something in the room triggered it. This experience was not only uncomfortable but also alarming. I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and safety from a hotel like this. I hope they seriously address whatever caused this, as no guest should have to go through what I did.
