Such a cute boutique hotel. We stayed in room 22 in the newer portion. Pleasantly surprised by the warm bathroom (heated toilet and towel rack!), very nice for a snowy stay. Water pressure and temperature perfect, clean, friendly staff. We only stayed for one night but it was enjoyable. My only complaint...the pillows were like whoopee cushions, I typically bring my own pillow but figured one night wasn't worth the hassle. Spoiler alert, it is always worth the hassle.

Location is the best feature; right on King Street! The entry, bar and free breakfast from local bakeries is a nice touch. Designating free parking is awesome too, but it's on the other side of the block. If you can, avoid the basement (they call it the first floor) as it's just below the bar and restaurant and it sounds like there's line dancing going on until the bar closes. I'm cautiously using some levity in my comments but it can be very annoying for anyone who expects quiet from a hotel room.

I’ve heard nice things about this “hotel”. My experience wasn’t bad, it was just weird. My room was located at the back of the bar off by itself. I didn’t feel a part of anything. The room itself was okay, but very much overpriced, but I assume that the price was tripled due to the particular weekend. I felt like an intruder each time I entered the property to access my room. I wouldn’t stay in that room again (#6). I can’t tell you what the actual hotel is like because I’m not certain that I was in it. I had no real interaction with staff.

Very cool, well located hotel but they never gave me the $25 VIP credit. Nice free breakfast. Rooms are very noisy in the early am. You can hear neighbors showeer/plumbing .
