decent hotel, great stay

we had a lovely stay in the hotel. The room was very convenient, the food at the breakfast buffet was lovely. the location was convenient, at the busy part of the beach, but we liked that. The service was great too, special thank you to Angel/Angie at the reception, Jay-R in the restaurant and Josie at the skybar. they made our stay great. thank you guys! the only negative comment i have is the number of sunbeds around the property, the beach and all the pools. people tend to jump on them early in the morning, leave a towel and disappear for the rest of the day. Apparently there is a rule of 15 minutes away, no one follow it. we also noticed that sunbeds were taken by people with towels not from the hotel, which was very irritating.

Avoid this place if you want to go on vacation… we booked the best and the expensive room to only find out it neither has beach access or pool access… and the food is just disappointing… also we had a kid they would not let us sit on the beach even though all tables were empty… they also do not let u wear bikinis or shorts even-though u wear something over it and have a shirt for breakfast! Breakfast is literally on the beach so you have to run back and forth like a manic changing clothes which makes no sense… the worst part was the staff they just walk away when u ask anything initially we thought they dint understand but its a pattern…. This is one of the worst stays for us i understand that may be some people dont mind these rules but on vacation it makes no sense and they dont mention any of these rules during booking… we ended up eating much better food just outside the hotel which is really sad… also in Borocay you cannot eat or drink on beach… i seriously mean that… i understand tourist historically trashed the place so you need to have control but this whole island is a mess even though its beautiful but supee crowded

Everything is great except the drainage in our room is overflowing and discharging a foul odour. I should have reported it but we’ve only stayed for 2 nights and i don't want to transfer room since we’re already settled. Other than that service and place is good.

Hotel is old, doors not sealed properly so cockroaches come in. 4/5 nights I found one in my room. Pool is overly busy and hard to get a spot. Same with the beach. Service from staff could be greatly improved to be more friendly. Food was okay, made me sick on 1 night though. The grand view room has a terrific view but otherwise pretty mediocre experience.

Difficult check in, they gave us a family room instead of the king bed which we booked then told us that they reserved the right to put us in any room. After arguing and telling us the hotel could do whatever they wanted she then looked at the computer for 30 seconds and found the room we booked was actually available. Huge muck around and fuss for no reason. Some of the bathrooms were pretty awful here dirty and leaking plumbing. Cockroaches in room. Buffet was good though and it’s a good location right on the beach

You have to take into consideration that the Hennan properties are well used by tens of thousands of tourists every year. Having spent 7 different stays with Hennan over the last ten years. I think that I’ve reached the point where I need to go try another establishment .

Beach front luxury hotel at station 2 - with Infinity pool on second floor overlooking beach and beach walk - I suggest the best Henan hotel dues to the pool - also has swim out rooms on ground floor which I what I had - issue was time of year - green algae on beach - better water near d mall

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay. Clean and nice ambiance. Staff are friendly. Love the pool access. Good breakfast buffet. The only downfall, there were some mosquitoes in the room. But overall, still love the place!
