Upon our arrival at the property, we saw multiple police units, including tactically dressed and armed personnel, who were surrounding the entrance. One officer informed us that we could not check in at that time due to an ongoing police investigation. He also informed us that we might be able to in 45 minutes or so. We also noticed that there were nor lights on in any of the guest rooms. Due to the hour and our planned VERY EARLY departure the next morning, we elected to abandon our plans at Bedford Plaza and find alternate accommodations. We will demand a full refund.

My 74-year-old disabled veteran father stayed at the Bedford Plaza Hotel from January 1st through April 1st. During his three-month stay, Ricky, Adithya (Sai), and Manny provided exceptional care and support. Their kindness, professionalism, and compassion made an enormous difference for my father and for our family. Ricky, in particular, went above and beyond. Working overnight shifts, he made sure my father who is very friendly and a night owl — always felt safe, welcome, and respected. Ricky also helped maintain a calm and secure environment, stepping in when needed to ensure guest safety. His attentiveness was not just professional, but deeply human. Throughout my father’s stay, I often called the front desk from two hours away. The gentleman at the front desk were always patient and reassuring, and Manny was equally kind whenever I visited in person. Hotel policy did routinely charge my father late fees (about $13) if payment wasn’t made by 11 a.m. On the day we came to collect his belongings after hospitalization, we arrived shortly before checkout following a two-hour drive, delayed by urgent medical calls. Although the front desk staff acknowledged my father’s cognitive challenges, an additional night’s charge was still required. I had hoped for some flexibility given the circumstances. Ricky especially deserves special recognition for his outstanding service and genuine dedication to guest safety and comfort. He truly made a lasting difference!

Waste of money

I stayed here for awhile and pricing was good. Then they raised their pricing double. They are charging what a 4 to 5 star hitel cjarges but yet they have no room service, no pool that works, breakfast is muffins, coffe amd crap waffles. There are no vending machines as they are all out of order. The rooms always have some issue whether its a non working sink, no heat, mold, stained bedding and towels. They offer basic motel service but yet are trying to charge what you would pay at a very nice hotel.I think the jokes on whoever would pay this rate when they can get a nice place.

Very old and run down hotel. Dirty furniture (big brown stain on chair). TV didn't work. Ceiling in bathroom had paint bubbling off. Stains on walls. Weird stuff at bottom of toilet that wouldn't flush. Several outlets didn't work. A lamp that didn't work. Very thin bedding. No protein at breakfast (only carbs).

The continental breakfast needed more food choices in the room I had I could not get the air conditioner to turn on the thermostats were working but the air conditioner didn't seem to have power yet and I like to sleep in cool air
