Food was excellent. Staff was nice. We did have to call & ask for towels twice. We did not have the do not disturb on the door, but no one came to take the dirty linens & leave fresh ones. Not sure if we are still avoiding rooms post Covid or what.

My stay at the Chateau was fantastic! The rooms were spotless and offered stunning views of Lake Ozark—absolutely breathtaking. The dining options were great, and I especially loved the pizza from Giovanni's Restaurant (highly recommend!). The location is super convenient, just a short drive to downtown with plenty of excursions and activities nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Would definitely stay here again!

First of all, Kelly at the front desk was amazing at helping us relocate to a room with a balcony! We have stayed at this property for several years in a row now. However, the rates have gone up, but seemingly the amenities and overall maintenance have gone down. We had to go to four different floors just to find a working ice machine. There was a cigarette butt on the balcony (non-smoking property). There was a wad of gum stuck on the wall. There was a hair in one of the sinks. For over $300 a night, the rooms should be spotless! There is no clock in the room (the last 2 visits). There was no pen and notepad in the room. And it seems that the television channel selection has been limited. There was also a parrot in a cage in the lobby chirping continuously, because it apparently lost it's mate. (Time to move on). Bottom line, prices have gone up, but amenities, cleanliness, maintenance, and attention to details have gone down. The biggest complaint, however, is the property is now implementing PAY TO PARK your vehicle! I have NEVER had to pay to park my vehicle at any hotel, and especially not at $300/night. Will not be back anytime soon.
