Minorca features a number of convention centres situated around the island, but the Menorca Convention Bureau is the largest. Many hotels in Minorca can direct visitors to a travel guide, which is sometimes necessary due to the size of the island. However, most travellers choose to visit one of the beaches such as the Cala Mitjana or the Cala Macarelletta, the Cap de Cavaliera for the views, the Monte Tora or the Es Grau.

Sports

Minorca's football team only plays friendly matches, but can be seen playing throughout the year. Minorca is bigger on tourist sports including swimming, hiking, horseback rides and boating, all of which can be experienced at various places throughout the island, but especially in Mao.
