Short City Trip

We were very happy with the general state of the villa – it was lovely and very clean – although the microwave wasn’t working. We did not have a car and we were disappointed to find that the villa was not in Bunyola, as advertised, but about 5 miles away from the village. The villa was very rural and served only by one bus route. There were no supermarkets, bars or restaurants within walking distance – nearest was Palmanyola – a 10 minutes bus ride away or in Bunyola – which was 2 bus rides away – journey times took anything up to a few hours depending on bus timetables Our main complaints were • Only receiving access details for villa after we arrived in Palma • the very rural location of villa • inability to buy essential supplies on arrival • no information about how to find bus stop from villa or about bus timetable • no information about how to operate electrical equipment or TV in villa • lack of emergency contact details in villa • no hot tub • no shampoo and just one tiny bar of soap
