The staff were very kind and helpful, but the internet didn't work in the rooms. The place was pretty run down and in need of some bleach to get the mildew and mold off the walls. It was more like a run-down, neglected, hostel than a resort hotel.

I ignored the bad reviews and found this hotel to be very decent while being very budget friendly. Good hidden gem, even cheaper than the so called backpacker places. Booked a room with an ensuite.

The staff were lovely. It needs money spent on maintenance, power cleaning everywhere and all balconies are filthy. This will need extra professional cleaning staff to come in and work on this full time at least for 2 weeks and with the correct equipment before it goes beyond repair and cleaning.

Clean hotel to stay in close to the airport

Needed a place to stay after a late night flight into Cairns. This is a quick drive from the airport and they left clear instructions for after hours checkin including how to park the car in the lot. The room was very spacious and felt clean. Please note there are shared bathrooms here so you have to leave your room but they felt clean and there was never a wait to use them while we were there.

Low cost accommodation, basic amenities

Initially booked a double room, didn’t realise it was a shared bathroom arrangement. Staff were very accommodating and managed to upgrade us to an ensuite room for a small additional fee. Accommodation is very tired and basic, needs a deep clean and painting. However, given the reasonable price did not expect top shelf accommodation. Proximity to esplanade and city was good.

Bathrooms need re doing as the water runs and slopes the wrong way for water runoff is towards door! wifi needs up grading and no Foxtel, no linen service each day. Condiments would be an advantage and a toaster, lighting needs attention on the patio. Other than that it was quite nice. Staff were very helpful.

This place was disgusting!!! The room was so damp the entire time. The walls, sheets and furniture was covered in mould. The bathroom had no fan so that did not help the dampness. The wifi was not working during the entirety of our stay. When we called about it the staff member was quite rude. The key fobs to access the apartments barely worked half the time. They also barely replaced our towels. There were also no places to put clothes or even hang towels. The location was so far from everything. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Everything about it was absolutely filthy! Everything was covered in dust or mould or both. I wouldn’t recommend stepping on the ground without shoes on at any point either… Anyone looking for somewhere livable to stay should stay away!!!

Unfortuantly the lack of cleanliness was extremly bad. Shared toilet and showers require more often. Toilet was found with urine all over the floor , hair all over the floors, a full day with no toilet paper even after staff were informed. Shower floor pooled with water, wall covered in hair. In general shared hallways required more regular cleaning.
