Staff very helpful on arrival room generally good in need of a bit of TLC only small things easilly sorted. Shower not great had to hold the shower head by copper tube. Requested early morning call didnt get one was awake any way. Great location for restaurants shops walks etc pick up for trips round corner at pacific hotel not always made clear.

Excellent Location

Very pleased with our stay. Room a bit small but very clean. Front staff friendly and welcoming. Close to the lagoon, shopping and the casino. Will definitely return when visiting Cairns again.

From time check in no email or phone call regarding water shut off repair. (Would have stayed somewhere else if known) huge inconvenience for no water. As for the room mildew smell, towels were gross stained brown marks, listed as having a coffee machine the room did not. Had instant powder coffee. Safe didn’t work. When going to front desk with concerns the gentleman blew us off with smart remarks. Not helpful at all. Strongly urge to stay somewhere else. Only positive was the location.

Fabulous place to stay

What a beautiful place to stay, so spacious. Having the kitchen and washer and dryer was fabulous. We did not use the pool. It was so close to everything- within walking distance especially the lagoon and reef terminal for excursions. Highly recommended!

Very basic and very dated

In serious need of renovations. Very basic. I’m not sure how this property can be called a hotel. It’s more like a motel and the pictures are very misleadin.

Location was great , comfy bed,great pool area Hotel rooms need a new do over, torn curtains, coffee table was stained and dirty the sofa was stained and not nice to sit on, bathroom tiles neee new grout ,the cupboards old in bathroom, water damage, needs fixing You had to bpil the kettle in the cupboard, where the plug was located , no other bench place Rooms need a definite reno
