So the only issue we had was that we had many spiderwebs in the corners of the room. Granted we didnt complain at the time because we just cleared it and took out the little spider as well. The breakfast was nice and hearty, just kind of wished there was other options some mornings. The classic bean and toast was amazing. But maybe a random new item besides the sausages , and variety of yogurts. But the staff was so calm and patient and helpful. All of them were such gentle souls. Kept the vibe beautiful. So thank you

Voco breakfast and location.

Breakfast was standard buffet style with alacarte optios. Pleanty of choice and good quality. There is off street parkinh but the hotel is so close to the traon station i would recommend gettingva train to waverly and then taxi or walk. The location is ideal for visitors looking to explore tge city or go yo the theatre and the view from the hotel iscamazing

I know Edinburgh is expensive, but at £260 a night, the level of cleanliness was poor, there was a light fitting hanging off the wall, the corridor in to the room past the tiny bathroom was like something out of a very cheap hotel. All in all, it felt more like a bottom end of the market room. Good location

Location good for shopping areas and for the bus tours start point.Not too far to walk to most of the top attractions. Room big but tired looking . Curtains hanging off rail , carpets stained tea stains on the table. The kettle couldn’t be used next to the tea making station -no socket !The door difficult to shut and lock. The bed big and comfortable. Breakfast hit and miss - no plates , no bowls, coffee machine broken supplies of bread fruit etc not quickly replenished- mostly had to be asked for. The last day we were there a different breakfast crew that were much more attentive. Overall average with some good points.

The images in the listing are very misleading… I was extremely let down with the state of the rooms when arriving in person, they were dated and not worth the price. The room had a heavy odorous smell to it which made staying in the room unpleasant. We got to experience a fire alarm at 12:30 in the morning which forced everyone out of the hotel and on the street in whatever clothes they could manage to put on and the following morning there was no hot water to shower before an 8hr flight home.

The Fringe and Tattoo in. A weekend

Nothing more than you’d expect but I found the bed uncomfortable. Try he food was good quality and hot. The bar prices were reasonable. M I at of the staff have English. Scottish as a second language it the service was good.
