Extractor fan in the toilet not working; toilet smells moldy; have to be careful when taking shower, else the whole place gets flooded. One time I dialed 0 but no answer and Reception did not return a call. One whole morning no hot water and there was no warning about water interruption; I slept on bed-sofa and not comfy at all ( it’s not straight).

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is about a 20 min walk to the Royal Mile which worked well for us. Very convenient to Haymarket station, and there are restaurants close to the hotel to choose from. However, the hotel restaurant was quite good, and the buffet breakfast was excellent! I think the only negative was that despite putting the towels on the wall hooks to indicate they didn't need changing, after the first day we received new towels each day. It is a small thing, but they advertise being environmentally friendly and had the info posted in the bathroom about how to indicate your towels don't need changing.... Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay, and would stay there again!
