This hotel had quite a few issues. The toilet seat cover was broken, the toilet paper holder was starting to come off the wall and the towel hanger ln the door was also coming off. The pro for this hotel would have to be the location. It’s at the edge of new town so it was easy to go to both new town and old town.

Lovely stay at the Mount Royal! As is typical of European hotels - the room was small and the bathroom got wet when you showered - but we loved the location and found it quiet despite being right downtown.

A 2 minutes walk from Waverley train station with excellent public transport links at the doorstep. Quick & smooth check-in and all the team members are 5 star! Especially Lewis & Daliya. Also - the internet/wifi was the best I have experienced in any hotel.
