Didn't enjoy the ai assistant. So much easier if someone could have talked to me and helped me with the shower. Anyway one of the cleaner's helped me in the end, she was very kind. Staff downstairs were 'too busy' to help me. I won't be staying again nor recommending the place.

The perfect choice for a hotel for our needs

Not being familiar with the area we made the right choice. The hotel is in a perfect location. It’s at the foot of the castle and it’s at the top of the grass market. It was a stone throw to the pubs and restaurants and shops on the Royal Mile. We had a nice living room area, comfortable beds. The heat was a little tricky to work, but when we asked for help, they came right away and solved the problem.

We spent a lovely week here. The location was perfect, right next to the castle. Questions were answered promptly and a huge shout out to Gibril at reception who was not only helpful but friendly.

Good breakfast. New hotel and fixtures. Friendly but unempowered young staff. No heat. Good bed, but no access (or bedtable) on one side. Non-functioning sink plug. Non-functioning soap dispenser in shower (replaced). Lights intermittent. Difficult access to town centre on foot.

Amazing staff and service. The place was amazing with lots of space, super clean, and an amazing view of the castle. 5 minute walk from the castle and lots of shopping and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone staying in Edinburgh!

Although I only stayed for 1 night, I had a great stay at Wilde in Edinburgh! I would definitely stay here again. The facilities were very modern and clean. I particularly appreciated the on-site laundry (just a note though: you do have to pay via card and it’s not particularly cheap). The units were super modern and high-tech (e.g., automatic blinds, fancy control panels, etc.) which took me a little to figure out haha but were quite cool. Staff were very friendly and there is 24hr concierge/reception. It’s in a quieter section of grass market but highly walkable.

Located right next to all attractions and walkable to everything. We took the tram from the airport and got off at Westend Station and from there walked to the hotel. The rates we paid for the hotel are definitely too expensive for what we got. Booked an open plan room for the 3 of us but the room was tiny and one side of the bed was next to the window which made it difficult to get out of the bed. The sofa bed takes all the space left in the other part of the room. In short, I would say that I loved the hotel only because of its location, the kitchenette and that they offer a self service washer and dryer for around £5 each.
