Staff at reception were excellent. The air conditioning for the room was stuck on hot which made for an unbearable night, we couldn't sleep. Having paid 2x or 3x the normal rate because of Fringe Festival, this terrible night rubbed salt into the wounds

The location is very convienent for the Royal mile and Edinburgh Waverly. Breakfast was good (continental with more options) but slightly pricey since we added it on. We were lucky that we were able to get right into our room at 9 am (which we didn’t expect but they had one open), It is clean and pretty with a comfortable bed. I would stay again.
