I recently stayed at the Ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge and had an great experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the city without needing transport. The Royal Mile, restaurants, shops, and attractions, were just a walk away. The hotel itself was a little dated but well kept! The rooms were spotless and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping everything tidy throughout my stay. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were in great condition. The staff were friendly, welcoming & always happy to assist with directions, or travel tips if I needed. I would recommend this for your stay if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and centrally located hotel, besides its not somewhere you spend all day...only a place to rest your head at night! I would definitely stay here again.

Parking isnt great but the location is fantastic. Only reason i was a bit annoyed is the worls going on inside. No warning or sign to stop you walking into a corridor full of electric cabled hanging down. Had to go up a floor across the building and back down to get to our room. Reception never mentioned it. Other than that it was a fantastic stay

It was a great room with fantastic staff. The property is right in the middle of everything with a very short walk to the Royal Mile as well as to the train station. We loved it there.

Loved the stay, but some things you should know before staying. Check in is at 3 and no earlier. Myself and many others were turned away until exactly 3. The shower and toilet are one. So it can get swampy if you don’t get into the shower right away. Bring a Roku or Fire stick.

I can’t think for a better hotel for Edinburgh - this is my fourth stay in the city and the first time I was happy with a hotel. Very spacious room, large bathroom, comfortable bed and there is a kettle and a nespresso coffee maker that I could start my day in a perfect way!

Great location - everything is walkable or there’s buses to attractions out with the city centre. Room was a little dated. Spacious, but a little cold, especially due to laminate flooring underfoot. Some noise from neighbouring properties, but the room was adequate for me and was reasonably priced. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

Very average, nice staff but tired hotel

Quite shabby in places, initial room had damp smell and no air conditioning working. Moved to an acceptable room. Corridor carpets worn, bedding sheets very thin/worn.
