This isn't a luxury hotel so I didn't go in with high expectations but the room was clean and great value, the amenities were terrific at that price point, and the staff were super helpful and friendly.

Room was clean and modern. Beds and pillows were so comfortable.Girls on reception and bar in the mornings were so lovely and helpful. We had something to eat in the evening food was ok. Service in the evening was lacking, I felt like I was disturbing the barman when I went to order. Just a handful of people in the bar yet he was sitting on a laptop at bar ignoring all the dirty tables with empty glasses. No tables were cleaned for the hour and half we were there. . Rooftop bar is lovely and the lads behind the bar were so welcoming.

The rooms were lovely and staff really friendly, especially Stuart, who checked us in. The rooftop bar is gorgeous and would love to return in the summer and enjoy the view from the balcony. Also staff in the rooftop bar are very attentive, making sure your always topped up with fresh water and drinks

This was our first time in Scotland. Room was clean, heat and hot water worked well in room. Breakfast was a great deal and lots of options. Staff worked hard to keep it clean and full for breakfast. We ate once do dinner in hotel bar food was good. No complaints bout our stay at all. The rooftop bar is pretty and good cocktails.

Lobby staff were very friendly and helpful. Welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch. Room was comfortable. Room service was late and didn't bring new coffee sachets. Gym room was clean if basic. Handy location, about 10 or 15 minutes' walk to the city centre. Would stay again
