Great Central Location

Pros: Great location. Nice friendly staff
Very simple modern rooms, slightly whacky decor. Spotlessly clean and minimalist - which I like. Helpful staff carried my suitcase up two flights of stairs, lift only goes to 1st. floor. I had left my phone charger behind and they kindly charged it for me. Breakfast was excellent.

Sole weekend trip

I was impressed with the location and I thought my room was small but very cosy and it was very relaxing. I thought the staff could have been friendlier though. They were a bit stand offish. I asked advice on a few good places to eat and have a drink and they couldn't really help me. Besides that I enjoyed my stay.

brilliant little hotel, well located

Fantastic hotel. Room was small but very well equipped and excellent use of the space available. I have stayed in much larger rooms that don't have as much space because of how they are laid out. Couldn't ask for a better location.

Great weekender

Went for weekend to Edinburgh.. Great location, ideal for sightseeing, very central. Great value for money, staff were v friendly and helpful.. Room was clean, only problem bathroom door would not lock and it was made of glass.

Weekend break

The hotel is in a great location for nightlife in the Grassmarket area and is only a short walk to Princes Street - 5-10 mins. The room was comfortable but quite small but fine for a short stay! The tea cakes in the room is a nice touch. Nice toiletries and a real hair dryer!!! Magnetic map of the area on the wall is a great idea to plan your stay! Stay friendly!

Convenient and cosy

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights.The room was cosy and clean and we loved the shower. We could have done with more shelf space for personal items and maybe a chair! It was in an ideal location for everything we did in Edinburgh.
