Excellent stay perfect for new year/hogmany

First impression excellent location, for all intense purposes on the royal mile, with ridiculously friendly and courteous staff. Staff genuinely couldn’t have done more to help and make a good, comfortable stay and facilitate your time away from the hostel too. Really lovely foyer and bar, the beds with [LARGE] lockers were more than adequate. Unfortunately I didn’t like the lack of a partition between the main dormitory area where the beds are through to the cubicles containing the toilet just makes one a little self conscious but hey you’re in a hostel. In a hostel where the advantage of meeting lots of new and interesting people from all round the world massively outweighs the minor element of self consciousness. Can’t recommend this hostel enough.

Everything you need great location for Fringe

Great time will use again. Four ladies we like it because we feel safe staying there. This is the second time using this hostel while attending the Edinburgh Fringe.

You get what you pay for... Einzelzimmer direkt über dem Innenhof, relativ laut auf Grund der unten im hoteleigenen Pub feiernden Gäste. Einfach, aber sauber, daher für eine Nacht ok.
